**Any soap listed with an asterisk (*) after the name is made with a fragrance oil which is synthetically produced. All others are unscented (Anything But Plain Jane, Baby Cakes and Goatmeal) or are made with pure essential oils which are plant based products.
***A word about lye/sodium hydroxide:
In the ingredient listing you will see sodium hydroxide listed as an ingredient. While it goes into the mixture to make soap it does not come out. There is a chemical process that occurs during the soap making process (called saponification) that transforms the alkaline base and acid into a salt which is soap. This uses up the sodium hydroxide and none is left in the final product.
All of our soaps are ecologically friendly, gentle on your skin, and biodegradable.
